The Slogger ROM cartridge was designed to fit either the Acorn Plus 1 or the BBC Master. It allowed the user to add to ROMs (either 8K or 16K) to the Electron with Plus 1 or Slogger ROMBox+. The sockets were left visible allowing easy insertion or removal of ROMs.
