The Watord Electronics Sideways ZIF Socket allows you to change ROMs with the minimum effort, you do not need to open the BBC Micro or risk bending or breaking ROM pins. The Zero Insertion Force socket fits in the ROM Cartridge hole on the left of the BBC Mirco keyboard and the ribbon cable plugs into a free internal sideways ROM socket.
