Peter Talbot, General Manager UK Education at Acorn Computers, said the joint initiative with The Sunday Times was yet another demonstration of Acorn's firm commitment to the education sector: "As leading suppliers of computers to schools our policy is first to understand the issues facing those involved in education today and then to address those challenges with technology that really will meet their needs, now and in the future. "The Sunday Times partnership has enabled us to offer not only schools, but parents and children as well, the opportunity to discover more about IT in education generally and to take advantage of some excellent offers so they can experience Acorn systems for themselves."
