Acorn Risc Technologies is pleased to announce that a patch has been made 
available which will enable Acorn Advance Release 2 to be used on a Risc PC 
equipped with StrongARM. 

The patch, and instructions on how to apply it, may be downloaded from 
ftp.acorn.co.uk or www.art.acorn.co.uk as a Spark archive; the file may be 
referenced as ftp.acorn.co.uk:/pub/riscos/patches/advancesa.arc (via 
anonymous ftp) or

If you do not have access to SparkFS or SparkPlug with which to decompress 
this archive, a self-extracting copy of SparkPlug may be obtained as either 
ftp.acorn.co.uk:/pub/riscos/releases/dearchive.bas or 
http://www.art.acorn.co.uk/ftp/riscos/releases/dearchive.bas ; this file 
should be *SETTYPEd to BASIC and then run.
