Introduction

Advantage Six Ltd "specialise in the design, manufacture and retail of electronic devices in the embedded and educational sectors." A6 was formed from and owns Stuart Tyrrell Developments who produce upgrades and add-ons for Acorn & RISC OS computers.

Computers

Advantage Six have produced:

the A5 tablet based computer running Windows XP and Virtual RiscPC
the A6 range of Windows/Virtual Acorn computers
the A75 range of rugged ARM based computers which were designed for an industrial environment and painted bright orange.
The A9 range of ARM9 based computers, including the A9home.

A9home

From Advantage Six's contracted work on embedded and specialised computers came the A9home. A full desktop RISC OS computer in a box 168 x 103 x 53 mm.
