A680 with top cover off

A680 with the top cover removed

A680 with the top cover and front removed (it slides forward and comes off in 1 piece). At the front, from left to right, is the on/off switch (not the cut wires behind it!), the speaker, the power distribution block (the thick leads come from the psu), the Conner 100MB hard disc and the floppy disc drive. In the middle of the picture, on the left, is the psu, the podule backplane with the SCSI and laser printer podules behind it and the battery backup for CMOS RAM on the right hand side. At the back on the left are the power in and out sockets and, on the right, the cooling fan.
