Acorn Offers Schools #100 Cash Back for Christmas

Acorn Computers is offering schools the chance to receive #100 cash back 
against each new 33 MHz Acorn A5000 system purchased between November 12th 
and December 24th 1993. 

Details of the offer and a voucher are being mailed directly to every 
primary and secondary school in the UK. To benefit from this special 
seasonal bonus, schools must purchase one or more Acorn 33 MHz A5000 
computers from their local Acorn Education dealer between November 12th and 
December 24th 1993. They should then complete the voucher details and send 
it, together with the original dealer invoice, to Acorn Computers, to arrive 
no later than 31st January 1994. In return, participating schools will 
receive a #100 cheque for each system purchased under the Acorn Cash Back 
for Christmas offer. There is no limit to the number of claims a school may 
make, provided each is supported by a valid dealer invoice. 

The Acorn Cash Back for Christmas offer is open only to educational 
establishments, not to individuals or other organisations, and applies only 
to purchases of the new, faster 33MHz A5000 systems. 

The increase in speed provided by the new Acorn 33 Mhz A5000 computer, 
announced in September this year, means performance can be increased by up 
to a third, compared with the original 25 Mhz models. In addition, design 
improvements included in the 33 MHz system mean that RAM can now be easily 
upgraded to 8 MBytes.
