Multimedia Comes For Free in Acorn's CD-ROM Drive Giveaway 

Acorn Computers, the leading supplier of computers to UK schools,  is giving 
away a free CD ROM drive, worth over 200 pounds ex VAT, with every Acorn 
A4000 computer system purchased between 7th April and 30th June 1995. 

Mike O'Riordan, Sales and Marketing Director at Acorn Computers, comments: 
"Our offer of free CD-ROM drives is further proof of Acorn's long-term 
commitment to bring greater multimedia capability into the classroom in the 
most cost-effective way.  Not only will more children be able to reap the 
educational benefits through accessing multimedia resources, they will also 
have the opportunity to create their own multimedia presentations using the 
power of Acorn's RISC based A4000 system." 

Acorn's latest offer is open to all customers, including individual users as 
well as schools and colleges. Customers purchasing an A4000 system simply 
return a voucher provided by their Acorn dealer to Cumana Limited, who will 
then despatch a free CD ROM drive directly to the customer. The offer must 
close at the end of June and all vouchers should be returned by July 14th 
1995 to ensure fulfilment.
