Acorn System 2

Introduction

The Acorn system 2 computer is mounted in a 19" card frame with an 8 slot backplane. The system is based on the standard Acorn Eurocards and typically consists of:

•  1MHz 6502 CPU with 2K Cassette Operating System (COS),
• 40x25 8 colour VDU interface,
• Memory board with 4K RAM and 4K BASIC ROM, a second ROM may be added
• Cassette interface

Additional cards can be added as required.
